Accessing our site
Access to our site is not guaranteed, from time to time we will withdraw or amend the content and service provided on our site without notice. We will not be liable if our site or any content is unavailable at any time for any reason. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site, including to users who have registered with us.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site, and for ensuring that everyone who accesses our site through your internet connection is aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.
If you decide to apply to become a registered user of our site, you must use your real name, in the normal sense of the term or face being blocked from using the site. You may use your common nickname along with your legal surname if that is how people know you. You must also provide your email address so that we can contact you when necessary. We reserve the right to reject any application to become a certified local in the event that you do not meet any of our requirements. If you move house you may transfer your account to your new town, although items published in your old town will remain published there.

Any content submitted to our site, including to the interactive services (contribution) will be checked by us for compliance with our content standards (below) as soon as reasonably practicable before (in the case of News) and after (in the case of all other content) it is published. We cannot guarantee how quickly contributions will be checked as this will depend on other editorial commitments.

EEIO is regulated by IMPRESS, the independent monitor for the press, and has adopted the IMPRESS Standards Code, Complaints Policy, Complaints Procedures and Whistleblowing Policy which you are required to adhere to. Browsing our website

Other users may occasionally request corrections to your uploaded items and we request you consider these requests carefully.

Deleting your account
You may delete your account at any time. However, please be aware that for the purposes of local history, content uploaded by you will remain on the site, labelled as having been published by “Deleted User”, unless you first delete that content. We may also retain your details for up to 2 years as required by UK law after the deletion of your account.
Buying and selling using our website
It is solely up to the buyer and seller to honour any sales and make collection of any payments arranged using this website.
While we makes every effort to provide a good customer experience, we take no responsibility for delivery of any goods or services advertised on the website, with the exception of downloads, whose digital delivery we do guarantee.
We may occasionally request a 10% commission on the sale of works of art to help pay our server costs. You may refuse this request.
